Olav left Norway 1954.
His bapt record is #10
and parents in 1910.
The bapt record for Ingrid Margrete is #175.
Her parents and siblings in 1910.

There is a Olav W Simonsen, who is listed as travelling between to the United States several times in the 1920"s and the 1930's. He has a permanent address listed as Brooklyn New York. Here is one record of those trips.

Here he is travelling with his brother Sverre. He again lists Brookliyn New York as his address. His brother Sverre lists Long Isand New Yor as his permanent address.

Could be him in the 1930 Census. In the list of roomers and directly below Olar is a Swerre Simonsen age 17 probably the brother.
