We just added a new passenger list to the emigrants database, the Orvar Odd sailing from Stavanger in 1872, transcribed by John Ulteig.

We have reorganized the ships database, and will continue with the shipping companies, so you will might experience a few minor problems with the navigation. We think you will be pleased when the upgrading is done, as it will make things easier to find for you. However, changing the structure like we are doing might cause conflicts with some links on the site before all links get updated. Please repot broken links to us if you discover any.

July 25 - added parts of 3 steamships passenger lists arriving to Quebec from Liverpool in 1866 with some Norwegian (Scandinavian) passengers. (S/S Damascus - Liverpool June 21 - Quebec July 7, S/S Moravian - Liverpool June 14 - Quebec June 26, and the S/S Peruvian - Liverpool June 7 - Quebec June 18, all belonging to the Allan Line) For capacity reasons we only transcribed those passengers believed to be Norwegians.
