According to the 1801 census for Telemark, 0813 Ejdanger Goro Svendsdtr would have been born in 1772. I have looked 2 years before that and 2 years after that. I have not been able to find her name. Her father was Svend Gudsmundsen and her mother is Guri Sondresdtr.
According to some information I have seen in a family tree someone in the family had done years earlier. She was married to Tollov Andersen Ørstvet in 1792. Perhaps I am not looking in the correct parish. I would really appreciate it if someone could take a look at this birth for me. Thanks.

Not only will you have to consider other nearby parishes - but also the great possibility of spelling variations.

I was able to find the birth record of just one of the sons listed - born/baptised in Aug of 1797 in Eidanger.
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=7861&idx_id=7861&uid=ny&idx_side=-79

The spellings show quite a bit of variation.

Have you made efforts to consult the Eidanger bygdebok(s)?

I think that is the same family. One sponsor is Lars Svendsen, - may be a brother of Gro Svendsdatter.
May be Lars Svedsen (36) in 1801 census: http://digitalarkivet.arkivverket.no/ft/person/pf01058304004262

Baptism of Anders Tollevsen July 22 1892 in Gjerpen: Gjerpen, Ministerialbok nr. 2 (1747-1795), Fødte og døpte 1792, side 129.

I am trying to confirm the death and burial of Anders Tollevsen. This is from the above replies for this family.

Here is the record I found for death. The age at time of death is off by a few years from the date of his birth. #45

Source information: Telemark county, Eidanger in Eidanger, Parish register (official) nr. 8 (1831-1858), Death and burial records 1839, page 269.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1359&idx_id=1359&uid=ny&idx_side=-282
Permanent imagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20051011030893.jpg

Could someone take a look at this for me? Would it be unusual for the age to be off like that?
