Looking for the death record of Ole Bendixsen born in Slidre in Sep of 1791. He does not appear in the 1801 census for Slidre. His father is Bendix Olssen Heyde. The record below might be his death but I am not sure. When was the 1801 census taken? If he died in Sep of 1801 would he have been in the census if it had been taken before then? Also what do the numbers at the end of the record mean? It is a 1 over a 4. All I can actually understand is his name so I don't know if he is the person I am looking for. What does it say before his name?

Record - right page upper. Sep 26.

Source information: Oppland county, Slidre, Parish register (official) nr. 1 (1724-1814), Death and burial records 1802, page 736-737.

Thanks for taking a look at this. I appreciate all the help I have received from this website.

Ole Bendixen who died 1803 was ca 4 mths old.

Was his mother Elen Marie Nilsdatter?
Did he have two sisters, Alet Katrina and Nilla Bergitta?

If that correspond the family moved to Bĝ in Nordland county http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/WebCens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=7&filnamn=f1801&gardpostnr=55716&personpostnr=833821&merk=844821#ovrelink[/url

The information I have is that he was born in 1791. He had a sibling Maren who was born in 1792. She is in the 1801 census but I don't see Ole. His father was Bendix Olssen Heyde and his mother was Kirsti Iversdatter

The family lived on farm Kirkevold in Slidre 1801 with a son Ole Bendixen age 3, so most likely Ole b. 1791 died young before 1800, link.

Sergeant Bendix Olsen, Heide and Kirsti Iversdatters son Ole was baptized July 24 1791, next to last record right page.

He must have died between 1794 and 1798 since Bendix and Kirsti had a son Even in 1794 and a new Ole in 1798.

Have not found the record.
