I have been searching for my great-great grandfathers gravesite but I don't know when or where he died. He was born in Feb 16, 1866 in Kvam, Oppland, Norway. Ole moved to MInnesota, USA in 1867 with his parents Amund Olsen (1832-1902) and Mary Olsen (1842-1917). They immigrated on the Bark Rhea June 24 1867. Amund and Mary are both buried at Zion Lutheran Cemetary outside Watson, MN along with a couple of Ole's siblings.

In 1892, Ole married Marie Rosendahl...I can't find out her date of death either. There is no one still alive in my family that can answer these questions and I've been looking for years and these 2 are the toughest to find. Both of them apepar in the 1930 US census in North Dakota but neither one appear in the 1940 census or at least I can't find them.

There is an Ole and Marie buried in Mille Lacs county, MN and that is not them. Can anyone help? I'm so stuck. Thanks!!!

Here is a link to the 1930 Ole Amundson in Reeder, Adams county, North Dakota:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XKJ5-S92

in 1910:

Here is an index listing of an Ole Amundson in the holdings of the Institute for Regional Studies:
Amundson Ole Prairie Pioneer: A Story of Adams County. [1976] F642.A2 P55 1976

from usgenweb.com page for Adams county, North Dakota, BLM records:
AMUNDSON OLE 05 131 N 098 W 032 160 272002 PA 92644 12/01/1909

From genealogybank.com there are actually 2 articles about Marie's death. The full obit was published on 14 Nov 1933 page 2, col 4 of the Aberdeen Daily News, Aberdeen South Dakota. The follow up article on 19 Nov 1933. Ole survived her and his address was given as "Ravinia, S.Dak" likely he was living with their daughter Mrs. R.S. Masters who was also living in Ravinia. I'm paraphrasing here:

Marie Rosendale was born on 25 Nov 1870 in Norway and came to US at age 21 and settled at Watson, Minnesota. She married Ole Amundson who was also from Watson.

Marie died in Los Angeles, California while staying with their daughter Mrs. Claude E. Collicott. She and Ole took a homestead in Reeder, N.D. in 1908 and lived there until 3 years prior to her death when they moved to Minneapolis. Survivors include her father named as "Johan Anderson of Norway" 3 sisters, 2 brothers, the daughters already mentioned; daughter Gladys Amundson who lives in Aberdeen, and daughter Mrs. A.J. Berg of Minneapolis, sons Arthur Amundson of Minneapolis and Melvin Amundson of Niagara, Wisconsin.

Ole and Marie are buried in the same plot in Riverside cem in Aberdeen. Findagrave has their names only but no dates:

Gladys is in Los Angeles with sister Alice Collicott in 1940; gives residence 1935 as Aberdeen, South Dakota; no father Ole in that household; Gladys dies 1987 in California.

Ole is not here either:

Tina good to see you've made some Find-a-Grave memorials for the family. Maybe this is Oscar Melvin Amundson's wife Thalia:

From the ELCA funerals database there is one Ole Amundson in 1936 from South Dakota. The church is labelled "American Lutheran" and from Pickstown, S.D. other than that no further identification of the church:

page 76, right hand side about the middle of the page:
