i am searching for a great uncle who went to australia about 1880. he was born in norway on 11 april 1865 and married rebecca m. blakely june 3rf 1887 he was registered haakon peder hansen bolstad but dissappeared and could have used family names hansen, pedersen or salveson there was also a report of him being killed in a mining accident at broken hill but have found nothing so far to confirm that event wuold be grateful for any info donbol

Here is candidate from a Family Tree on Ancestry.com

Hakon Peder Hansen Bolstad
Birth 1865 in Vestregard 8, Grimstad,Aust-Agder, Norge.
Death

Father is listed as

Hans Hansen Bolstad
Birth 23 Mar. 1839 in Bolstad, As, Akershus, Norge

And his baptism record See number 69

Christiane Pedersdatter was born July 24 1842, see #80.
Her parents were Peder Salvesen and Anne Rolvsdatter.
