Thank you.

I find brothers: Knud (1795), Andreas(1801) and Henrik(1805)

Onstad farm, Nord Aurdal is certainly on target....1801 is Andreas birth year

I find no Tosten brother

Births below found in Norway, Select Baptisms (from Ancestry.com). At least a dozen Ole Knudsen were born in Nord Aurdal in the time frame you mention; more than one of them could have had a son Andreas born ca 1801-1802. Adding the mother's name narrows the field. The family below fits the criteria you supplied. Original church records should be consulted.

Great....Now I am getting past where I was blocked on Family Search! Thank you. This looks like my people.

I arrive in Oslo, N on Thursday for a month in country. Will not be able to visit Aurdal...but hope to find some interesting places to search for folk.

I will now check out the genealogist you mention.
