Ole Sjursen b. 1819 and his wife Kari b. !830. came to US 1870 with their childen. they used the surname Severson and in 1880 Ole and Kari lived at Big Grove, Kendall, Ill. wth a son Helge (Henry) b. 25 of November 1866. They also had another son Syvert b. March 14. 1861. I have all what I need about the above.

Not the girls. Sophie b. 1853, Tobia b. February 14. 1856, Karoline b. January 17. 1859, Ingrid Kristine b. March 30. 1863.

I do think i found Tobie in 1880 living at Mission, La Salle, Il.

Also a Inger Kristine married to John P. Hassel lived in Chicago, not sure f it is my Inger Kristine. All are born n Norway.

Thank you Magnar.

Thank you Hopkins, Yes I do think this is our Caroline, see that she used the father's farm name Fedt. This is why I found Ole Sjursen also. Magnar.

Lewis and Caroline had a son they named Otto Lewis in Kendall Co. in 1880.
http://kendallkin.org/databases/1644/B,O/2.html

Not sure that link will work but it is also from that Kendall Co. Genealogy website - but the database for Birth Records.

Just a few months later they are in Kingsbury Co. of the Dakota Territory, United States
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MCVQ-B7B

By 1900 Kingsbury Co. is now within the new state of South Dakota but Caroline may have died.
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MMR4-87H

Caroline died 1882.
