i can't read the record for the birth of Hans. Could someone tell me who the mother and father were and whether I even have the birth record for Hans. Information I have is that he was born on Stulen Farm in Eidanger on 22 Nov 1810.

Source information: Telemark county, Eidanger, Parish register (official) nr. 6 (1764-1814), Birth and baptism records 1811, page 157.

Hope someone can find time to look at this. Thanks

Kare - I know he came America to Scandinava, Wisconsin. He married Anne Kirstine Tollefsdatter Ĝrstvet in Eidanger
1833 so I assume she came to America with him. If I don't know the year how can I find the record with out looking from every year until a daughter was born in America in 1851. Hope there is an easier way.

You are welcome.
The reason Hans Jacob Eliasen em. as Hans Eliasen Oxum was because his father Elias Jacobsen was born on Oxum.
The witness Jacob Oxum in the 1810 wedding was Elias father.
