You are welcome! ;D

On one of the Jarstad photos, is a caption "Grandmother Anna Tuff (sounds like Tuve)."

Birth of Anne, see #67. Vestre Slide, Oppland churchbook
24 April 1848
Parents: John Pedersen Tuf and Barbro Gundersdatter
Ancestry tree mentioned doesn't have Anne's parents, so maybe this will help some one some time.

Obituary
12 October 1928
Kenyon Leader [Kenyon, Minnesota newspaper]
"Again one of the pioneers of Kenyon township has been called away by death. Mrs. Anna Jarstad passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, September 29, 1928, after having suffered a stroke on September 11th. Mrs. Anna Jarstad was born in Vestre Slidre, Norway, the 24th of April, 1848. She was married to Lars Jarstad. To this union nine children were born. They emigrated to America in the spring of 1874, arriving in Kenyon township, where she lived for fifty-four years. Her husband preceded her in death seventeen years ago. One child died in infancy. Funeral services were held at the Hegre Lutheran Church of which she was a member since its organization in 1878. Rev. Kleven her pastor conducted the services. John Jarstad obit 1940

"John Jarstad, son of the late Lars and Anna Jarstad, pioneers of Goodhue county, was born March 23, 1878, and passed away at a Rochester hospital March 11, 1940. He attended the parochial and public schools available at that time and was confirmed in Gol church June 12, 1892 by Rev. K. O. Lundeberg. Later he attended the United Church seminary in Minneapolis for two years. In the spring of 1903 he located on a homestead in Williams County, North Dakota, and was a pioneer of that county. He was a charter member of the Lutheran church organized at Williston and held many positions of trust in both county and town. He served his county as deputy sheriff for four years and his town for a number of years. June 14, 1913, he was united in marriage to Bertina Neseth by the late Rev. M. G. Hanson on the old Neseth homestead near Skyberg. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, three brothers and four sisters: Tollef, Albert, and Caroline of Skyberg; Mrs. Ingeborg Rabolle, Nerstrand; Mrs. Bertina Larson, Wanamingo; Mrs. K. E. Strandemo and Joseph Jarstad of Kenyon...."

Albert Jarstad Obit 1950

"Albert Jarstad, son of Lars and Anna Jarstad, was born in Kenyon township June 18, 1882, and passed away January 27, 1950. He attained the age of 67 years, seven months, and nine days. At an early age he was stricken with spinal meningheitis from which he suffered all his life. He had been confined to his bed since May of last year. During the years that he suffered he had been patient and thankful for the care that had been given him by his loved ones who watched over his hourly needs. He lived his entire life at the parental home where he was born. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister. He is survived by two brothers, Tollef and Joseph of Kenyon; and three sisters, Caroline at home, Mrs. Anna Strandemo of Kenyon, and Mrs. Bertina Larson of Wanamingo...."

"Peacefully sleeping, resting at last,
The world's weary troubles and trials are past,
In silence he suffered, in patience he bore,
Til God called him home to suffer no more."

A cousin of mine found and directed me to this link.
Nels Ronald Raabolle (b. Dec. 6, 1942, d. July 15, 2014), “uncle Ronnie”, was my mom’s oldest brother.

Nels John Raabolle (b. Aug. 28, 1904, d. May 1, 1964) and Luella Jensena Hukee (b. Jan. 19, 1915, d. May 13, 1997) were my mom’s parents. (they had seven children: Johann Lois – or JoAnn, Norliene Ione – my mom, Elaine Katheyn, Nels Ronald, David John, Larry Allen and Betty Ann)

His parents were, Niels N. Raabolle (b. Feb. 9, 1868, d. Feb. 1, 1909) and Ingeborg L. Jarstad (b. April 6, 1880, d. July 17, 1943). (haven’t found anyone who knows what the N. stands for …)

His parents were, Niels Johanne Raabolle (b. June 4, 1826 – in Norway, d. Dec 11, 1900) and Ingeborg Erager (b. Oct. 27, 1829 – also in Norway, d. Jan. 1, 1894).

http://wp.stolaf.edu/archives/files/2015/11/50Years.pdf
He’s listed in this book on St. Olaf collage “Fifty Memorable Years at St. Olaf” (top of pdf page 15 – page 32 of the book)

This is from Niels Johanne’s bible (he was a “parochial teacher in his community”):

Niels Jorstad – my great grandfather
Ole Strands, Skattebo, Braaten – my grandfather
Johann C. Raabolle – my father
Niels J. Raabolle – me
Niels N. Raabolle – my son

Ingeborg – my mother
Her father – Niels, whose father was Tollef – from Dahle.

I came from Raabolle Ostre Slidre, Valders, Norge to Wisconsin – 1854.
1857 I came to Holden Twship, Goodhue Co. ***
Signed – N.J. Raabolle

It’s my understanding that Niels Johannne and Ingeborg (Erager) were buried at the original homestead – where my brother currently lives. The rest are buried at Vang’s cemetery, near Vang’s Lutheran Church a few miles north of Kenyon, MN.

My mom’s aunt, Anna Raabolle (b. Aug. 22, 1900, d. Feb. 11, 1994), who married Elmer E. Strandemo (b. June 2, 1898, d. Sept. 1979), was often confused with the other Anna (Jorstad) Strandemo – married to Knute. So “the family” – for clarification, and for fun – would differentiate between the two by referring to them as “Knute’s Anna” and “Elmer’s Anna.” Anna and Elmer lived in Faribault, MN, until their passing. They had no children.

Here's another try at a child of Lars Jarstad and Anna J. Tuff (or Tuve). I haven't dotted the i's or crossed the t's. In 1900 census is daughter Anna L. Jarstad, age 13. A candidate is Anna Louise Jarstad Strandemo.

Find-a-Grave memorial here

Anna and husband Knute E Strandemo are included in the Dalby Database. Search the Cemeteries option. Search on "Strandemo." I notice the database says that Ingeborg Jarstad-Nils Raabolle had a daughter Anna who married a Strandemo.
Link

This is a well-done database that is local to southeast Minnesota.

According to Find-a-Grave, Anna Louise Jarstad Strandemo had a daughter Grace Amanda Strandemo (Luebke) (1909-1993). Obit here, for "Grace A. Luebke of Kenyon":

Find-a-Grave memorials are created by people who aren't necessarily descendants. Sometimes a descendant requests to take charge of the memorial and "maintain" it. That appears to be the case with the memorial for Anna Jarstad Strandemo. Click on the user name to message him.

Linked below is a picture that’s been in mom’s family for a long time. It’s said it was taken in 1911, and since that is the year we have for the passing of Lars Jarstad, maybe the gathering was for his funeral (they don’t look all that pleased to be there). It appears, based on the identical clothes worn, that it was taken the same day as those thumbnails from Ancestry. It’s a group picture of the Jarstad klan – including “grandma” Anna (Johnsdatter? – we have her listed as Tuve) Jarstad. Most of her kids:

Tollef: b. March 17, 1874, d. Feb. 6, 1957 (never married, so far as we know, lived with sister Caroline)
John: b. Dec. 8, 1877, d. 1940 (and his wife Berta – nothing else known of her)
Ingeborg L. (Jarstad) Raabolle.
Bertina (Jarstad) Larson: b. Dec. 15, 1883, d. May 15, 1966 & ( married Lars Larson: b. Sept. 16, 1867, d, March 2, )
Anna Louise (Jarstad) Strandemo: b. Nov. 24, 1886, d. July 19, 1976 & (and her husband Knute Strandemo: b. , d. 1943)
Caroline: b. July 12, 1889, d. March 22, 1980 (never married, so far as we know)
Joseph: b. May 4, 1894, d. June 5, 1982 & (married Helen Satron - nothing else known of her)

It’s my understanding that Lars and Anna had another son, Albert (b. June 18, 1882, d. Jan. 27, 1950). We’ve wondered if one of the unidentified men might be him. (the man standing to the right of John kinda looks like him (John). He’s about the right age and his hair looks and is parted the same as John’s and Tollef’s, but that’s just me suppos’n)

Five of Ingeborg Raabolle’s kids are also pictured:

Ingeborg (I only knew her as Aunt Belle): b. 1898, d. 1966 (later married to Joseph Berg and Mike Rowan – don’t know their history but mom might know what became of them)
Anna: b. Aug. 22, 1900, d. Feb. 11, 1994 (later married Elmer E. Strandemo: b. June 2, 1898, d. Sept. 1979)
Nora Luella: b. June 9, 1902, d. October 20, 1982 (later married George Anton Meskal: b. March 22, 1901, d. 15 Jun 1975)
Nels John Raabolle: b. Aug. 28, 1904, d. May 1, 1964 (later married Luella Jensena Hukee: b. Jan. 19, 1915, d. May 13, 1997)
Gurina Bertina: b. 1908, d. 1936 (never married, so far as we know)
*** she had a son, Leonard Gerhard: b. 1906, d. 1907, who died as an infant

The young boy sitting on the far right is Nels John Raabolle, my mom’s dad.
Wasn’t sure how to get images into this forum so I just linked ones I’ve already posted on my Facebook page.

For some reason, with just a simple Google search, the photos on the Ancestry.com family tree of tamchu1 come up. It's possible to see tiny thumbnail versions of the photos on the tree. Captions identify people, such as "Anna Tuve Jarstad" and many more photos (more than 800). Some are jpgs of documents. Although I'm not accessing the tree itself, I can see many Strandemo photos and there's no doubt whatsoever this is the Strandemo family on the Find-a-Grave memorial above.

So that's informal confirmation the guess about Anna Louise Jarstad Strandemo was correcta.

Again, tamchu1 is the Ancestry user name.

Based on Norwegian naming patterns he would have been named after his father. So the N would liklely stand for Nielson or Nilson, since his father first name was Niels.

This is likely the baptism record for his father, Niels Johannesen, See number 35.

I would read the farm they were associated with at that time as Skatteboe.or Skattebu same farm different spelling
