There is quite a lot of detail in Andreas' dødfallsprotokol would someone read & report?

It reads:
Konen lever med 7 myndige Børn over 25 aar hvoraf 3 fraværende (udenfor Europa) og udvandrede. Eier Neto 176 i andre ? og endel Inbo. Sønnen H.H. Pettersen lovede at faa de Fraværendes Erklæring om at Enken kunne hensidde i uskiftet Bo.

Not easy to read, but could it be;
" Own net 176 in vestre Fredrikstad and......."

They lived in Forstaden, Vestre Fredrikstad.

This is Google translates take on the last sentence about the son H.H. Pettersen:

"Son H. H. Pettersen promised to get the Absence Ende Declaration that the widow could hensidde in undivided possession "

So... Hans Henrik promised to sign what we call a Quit Claim, relinquishing any interest in his parents' property (their house), perhaps a promise made at the time of his father's death 19 April 1881...?

Thanks for slogging this out...

The number is 167 in the original which is the same house number in the address they were at (I think) 1875 167 Brogade. In Anne Helene's dødfallsprotokol on the side of the page with her name is a small note which I read as "_____ Asbjornsgaard I Brogade"

Andreas (Hansen) Pettersen's death record gives his birth date as 30 Mar 1800 which Jane linked to earlier.

Baptism second from the bottom of the page is Andreas Hansen's (the son of Hans Pettersen and Gunhild Rasmusdtr)baptismal record:

Kildeinformasjon: Østfold fylke, Glemmen, Ministerialbok nr. 2 (1771-1803), Fødte og døpte 1800, side 195-196.

Pictures and map way cool. The distance to Glemmen church is very small. Also I see Trosvikstrand which is the "address" of one of the witnesses to Andreas Hansen's baptism.

Great link!

Here is the handwritten Glemmen churchbook record of March 1807 birth of Anne Helene Andreasdatter - posted the Family Search website transcription earlier:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20061017010473.jpg

Is there a reason she would be Anne H. Loten, as found in Andrew Peterson death record in Maine? The name is typed, not handwritten.

Kevin - a usual pattern is that a person uses a place in addition to first name and patronym. Loten would be a place...
