#1099

Can make out his name, age, and address in the 3rd column, and his wife's name, Julie Pettersen in the 4th, but could use some help with what's left.

Thanks.

Wagoner Olaves Pettersen, age 46, died yesterday in Maribogade 6 (Maribo street)

Wife Julie Pettersen and 5 children, 2 under age, all present

5 column:
Inheritance of the widows (the rest make no sence to me, but the last word værelse means room)

"Værelse" is a separate room of the building

Mariboe street 6-8

I read:
Hustru Julie Pettersen og 5 børn, hvoraf 2 umyndige, alle her
Wife Julie Pettersen and 5 children of which 2 are minors, all here
Anmerket af Enken der opplyste kun aa eie Inbo til 1 mindre Værelse
Noted by the widow who informed that she only owned household goods for 1 small room

This is a very interesting note in the record, and raises some other questions.

Julie was married to Olaus (21 Feb 1886, Kampen Parish, Oslo), with 5 children from a previous marriage he had to Karoline Emilie Kristiansen, who died 17 Jan 1885 in Eidsvoll.

There is also an unproven note that shows Julie and Olaus may have had a child together, Olga Emilie Pettersen (b. 1 May 1886, Christiania).

There is also a weak connection between Olaus and yet another woman named Johanne Christine Jensen (b.1856, Oslo), and a possible child, Signe Therese Pettersen (b.22 Jun 1880, Oslo), which would have happened when he was still married to his first wife, Karoline Emilie Kristiansen.

Why would Julia have noted that she only owned household goods for one small room when she may have been looking after several children (of a busy guy...), of whom, perhaps, only one was hers biologically?

Julie moved on and had a child with Jens Hansen Smedstad, who was named Hjordis Sylfride Juliane Pettersen (b.8 Feb 1899, Oslo) Why would she have kept Olaus' surname for a child that wasn't his? Strange.

Later, Hjordis emigrated to the US with her mother under the surname of Bunaes.

Many small mysteries rolled up in one.

Perhaps she used the same lastname as her mother Julie, but later both changed to Bunæs.
Both em. from Drammen 1905.

A curiosity off the record.
Probably a distant relative to sprint runner and 18 times Norwegian Champion and 26 times Norwegian rely champion Carl-Fredrik Bunæs from Drammen.

Bapt. record for Olga Emilie and marriage record for Olaus and Julie shows they were living at Gruegaden 6 in both cases - satisfactory proof even though Julies last name is not the same?

The bapt record only says she was named Hjørdis Sylfride Juliane.
