A good possibility for (Johanne) Marie Rasmusdtr Torvik is this person.

Listed as Marie Toreig arrivied in New York on 17 May 1886 on the Germanic, birth is listed abt 1872. Also listed as from Bergen and Swedish. Although the original manifest is not clear as to which passengers are Swedish and which Norwegian.

Tough to find some of the others. For Severin Rasmusson Torvik, I looked for some of the other passengers on the emmigration list from Bergen.

http://gda.arkivverket.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=1&filnamn=EMIBERG&gardpostnr=22086&merk=22086#ovre

One of the passengers Ole Olsen Kjøllesdal is near (three passengers away) from Severin. I found him here.

Name: Ole O Kjollesdal
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Birth Year: abt 1865
Date of Arrival: 11 May 1887
Vessel: Carthaginian
Search Ship Database: Search for the Carthaginian in the 'Passenger Ships and Images' database
Port of Arrival: Quebec, Quebec, Canada
Port of Departure: Glasgow, Scotland; Liverpool, England

Both Knud and Hans Kjøllstad are also on this page.

The person most likely to be Severin Rasmusson Torvik has been transcribed as Severine Larock, however looking at the original manifest the name is probably Severin Torvik.

Severine Larock
in the Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935
Name: Severine Larock
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Birth Year: abt 1869
Date of Arrival: 11 May 1887
Vessel: Carthaginian
Search Ship Database: Search for the Carthaginian in the 'Passenger Ships and Images' database
Port of Arrival: Quebec, Quebec, Canada
Port of Departure: Glasgow, Scotland; Liverpool, England

These are likely the two brothers Johan Torvik and Mons Torvik.

Johan P Torrey
in the Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935
Name: Johan P Torrey
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Birth Year: abt 1860
Date of Arrival: 2 May 1881
Vessel: Scandinavian
Search Ship Database: Search for the Scandinavian in the 'Passenger Ships and Images' database
Port of Arrival: Quebec, Quebec, Canada
Port of Departure: Cork, Ireland; Liverpool, England; Queenstown, Ireland

And

Moses R Torrey
in the Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935
Name: Moses R Torrey
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Birth Year: abt 1862
Date of Arrival: 2 May 1881
Vessel: Scandinavian
Search Ship Database: Search for the Scandinavian in the 'Passenger Ships and Images' database
Port of Arrival: Quebec, Quebec, Canada
Port of Departure: Cork, Ireland; Liverpool, England; Queenstown, Ireland

The two are travelling to Madelia, Minnesota. Looking at the original manifest, I would say the two last names are Torvig.

Two names away from these two is a name that looks like Olliver E Hjelle. Probably is Ole Iver Eliassen Hjelle. See him also in the emmigration list from Bergen. And one name away is Abel H Hjemeland also one the Bergen emmigration list.

Thank you, this was fantastic. I need some time to work it trough, but the infomation about John, Mons and Abel correspond with information about Abel Monson(Hjelmeland) coming to Madelia, then, Minneapolis and finally settled in Donnelly.

Hard to find him, however I think it is likely that he arrived on 27 May 1890 in Boston Massachusetts on the ship named Catalonia. There were 913 passengers on that ship including these two.

Name: Jacob Olsen
Gender: Male
Nationality: Norwegian
Birthdate: abt 1856
Age: 34
Port of Departure: Queenstown, Ireland and Liverpool, England
Ship Name: Catalonia
Arrival Date: 27 May 1890
Port of Arrival: Boston, Massachusetts

And

Name: Christina Alsaker
Gender: Female
Nationality: Norwegian
Birthdate: abt 1865
Age: 25
Port of Departure: Queenstown, Ireland and Liverpool, England
Ship Name: Catalonia
Arrival Date: 27 May 1890
Port of Arrival: Boston, Massachusetts

If you look at this page from the Emmigrants fra Bergen 1874-1930, which includes Kristian Rasmussen Tørvik you will see the two people above. Number 2 and number 5 on this page. But so far I have not found a good record for Kristian.
