it's written that F. 1836 (1838) and M.1856. in right colomn

Think that means that father born 1836 and mother 1856.

Nice job guys. There is a lot of new information to sort through. I think that the birth and confirmation records for Mathilde are spot on. However the information on the parents especialy Kaja is going to take some sorting through.

Perhaps this is the Kaja Nilsen born in Gure, Hedmark.

Name: Kaja Nilsen
Gender: Female
Birth Date: 11 sep 1855
Baptism Date: 30 sep 1855
Baptism Place: , Grue, Hedmark, Norway
Father: Niels Olsen
Mother: Marie Nielsdr
FHL Film Number: 307241

Hi

When Mathilde is baptized, it is noted that her mother was born 1856 so Kaja born 1844 is not the mother of Mathilde.

1910 census says she was born 10 Feb 1856.

Some nice work Jane,

Marriage of Kaja to Halvor Hermansen, Jacob, Oslo, #43: 1895
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=632&idx_id=632&uid=ny&idx_side=-8

Compare the list of witnesses to those for the baptism of Mathilda in 1882. Both include Theodor Haakensen Bærum

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=5404&idx_id=5404&uid=ny&idx_side=-314

It may be his name is Theodor Haagensen found here in 1865 and 1875

For completion sake and using the Ancestry tree that Jane found. Kaja or Kaisa Nilsdotter or Nilsen after having a child out of wedlock ie Mathildie in 1882

Married Chistian Julius Olsen in 1887and had two children
Signe Ovidie Olsen b 1888
and Trygve Oscar Olsen Haug b 1890

Both children show up in the 1900 and 1910 Census posted by Jane.

Kaja then married Halvor Hermansen in 1895

Marriage of Chiristian Julius and Kjasa number 9

Mathilde's confirmation contains location information for each of her parents. Her mother, as we know, was in Christiania and her father is listed as "now in Sandviken" or at least that's what it looks like to me. Could someone else take a look at the place to confirm or redirect?

Mathilde's birth record has location information also for Johan Dahl ... Dahl --or? paa Bergen?

But he's "Johan Dahl from Tuengen in Oslo, b. 1836."

The whole location reference is not clear to me.

The candidate for Mathilde in 1900 is in Aker on Tueengen.

Geir's post of a candidate for Johan Dahl in 1900 could be the right man - but he's not in Sandviken. That Johan Dahl is listed as born 1838 in Laurvig JL.
1900
