Anders Knudsen "fra" (From) Eidahl/Ejdal

Could it means that Eidal was outside Sigdal. -dal means valley.

We have Ejdal-farms in Nes munuicipality in Buskerud

Anders Knudsen, baptized July 19 1750, see #46.
Sigdal bygdebok says his father Knud Bjørnsen (born ca. 1714) was married to Aase Andersdatter.
Also that Anders Knudsen was married to Aase Knudsdatter, Bergan.
Knut Bjørnsens father was Bjørn Fingarsen, mothers name not known.

Yes, Einar. Also while exploring this Knut Bjørnsen further I came across this son of his.

Name: Knud Knudsen
Gender: Male
Baptism Date: 7 des 1766 (7 Dec 1766)
Baptism Place: , Sigdal, Buskerud, Norway
Father: Knud Biornsen
FHL Film Number: 124188

Also middle of left hand column

A Geni.com family tree has this on him

Knut Bjørnsen Eidal
Gender: Male
Birth: 1714
Death: 1780 (66)
Immediate Family:
Husband of Åsne Anderd Øverby
Father of Knud Knudsen Eidal

And this comment on one of the daughters of Knut

Ingeborg had 8 siblings: Knud Knudsen Eidal, Skysskar Bjørn Knutsen Eidal and 6 other siblings.

So far I have only found six.

An attempt to search the Digitalarkviet records for Sigdal past the 1766 bith of Knud Knudsen ran into a problem in which the baptism records for Homen seem to be missing from early 1770 to late 1775

That is from

https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/kb20070312630146

to

https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/kb20070312630148

On the page with early 1770 baptismal records you were asked to go to page 100, see here.
(Sigdal parish records are a mess)

Thanks Einar, a search did not turn up any candidates but I would never have noticed the comment on the bottom of the page on my own.

However I did find this Family Tree for the Biørnsen family of Eidal. No sign of an Erich born 1769.

Thank you Einar, I was hoping someone would fill in the missing information. The names that first catch my eye are Aase Moen and Ole Moen. I suspect that these two are Ole Knutsen and Aase Engebresdatter. It is possible that they are married and this is the two found at Bye in the 1801 Census..

http://digitalarkivet.arkivverket.no/en-gb/ft/person/pf01058273000233

And based on the ages of their chidren in the census this may be their marriage

Name: Aase Ingebrethsdr
Gender: Female
Marriage Date: 7 jul 1782
Marriage Place: Sigdal,Buskerud,Norway
Spouse: Ole Knudsen
FHL Film Number: 124188

The family also shows up in the oiseth Family Tree first found by Kåre on page one. It shows the mother of Ole but not his father unfortunately. Mother is also in the 1801 Census. at number 26.

http://oiseth.org/getperson.php?personID=I31829&tree=dodgo

However there is a Aase Narvesdatter living at Moen in 1801 Census so the first three Aase names could refer to the lady living at Moen.

Could just as well be Ole Gunbiørnsen and Aase Narvesdatter at Moen, see 1801.

I wonder if someone could take a look at the baptism record for the child of Knud Biørnsen Eidahl. I cannot read the childs name but it looks a little like a Knud. The record is the seventh from the bottom. Proably the number 11 chld in the Roots Web Family Tree.

https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/kb20070312630138

Witnesses are
Ingeborg Kittelsen Eidahl
Aase ? ?
Ingeborg Nielsdatter Eidahl Eie
Ole Biørnsen Lille Eidahl
Jacob Nielssen ?
