Hi, I'm new to this Forum and I'm looking for information on my Berkvam/Berquam ancestors and/or my Fadness ancestors either in America or Norway. The Berkvam/Berquam folks came from the Berekvam farm near Aurland, Norway. My GG grandmother came over in 1845--her name was Magnilde Eriksdtr Ytreli.
The Fadness folks came from Voss, Fadness Farm, Evanger, Hordaland, Norway. I've built a family tree on MyHeritage.com and retrieved some basic information there. My paternal grandfather, Arne Berkvam, and grandmother, Anna Fadness were from Rio, Columbia County, Wisconsin. I'm located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I would appreciate any information you could share or suggestions for research.

Quite a bit of information is in this topic.
Can you be more specific about what else you are looking for?
