Looking for some cousins. I am seeking any information about the family of Ouen Kristensen and Aasne Syvertsen, married Dec 7, 1864 registered at Oddernes, V-Agder, Norway. They had 3 sons Kristen Ouensen born Sept 21, 1865 at Stray, Syvert Ouensen (Stray) born 27 Dec 1870 and Adoph Severin Ouensen (born?). They all moved to America but I don.t have any info. Would appreciate any help to find when and where these families immigrated to. Thanks
Suzanne

Another candidate that many family trees on Ancestry.com have as your Syvert is this one. However the information on him does not match your posted information. Especially the mothers name Gunhild and two brothers that named Gunstein and Olaf. So in that respect he is a poor fit but I will post some information on him for completeness.

Syvert Stray
in the U.S., Find A Grave Index, 1600s-Current
Name: Syvert Stray
Birth Date: 1871
Birth Place: Norway
Death Date: 20 Aug 1934
Death Place: Seattle, King County, Washington, USA
Cemetery: Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home
Burial or Cremation Place: Lake Forest Park, King County, Washington, USA
Has Bio?: Y
Spouse: Lillian Stray
Children: Ellen Valle
Myrtle Cummings

FAG llink not work

But one of the brothers Gunstein baptism in 1867 can be found.

A good possibility, date is right. He is listed as going to Racine Wi. Lists two people he is traveling to see. First is Mikki Jensen of Racine Wi and second is Sven Strai, no address given.

Oland A Strai
in the Massachusetts, Passenger and Crew Lists, 1820-1963
Name: Oland A Strai
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Nationality: Norwegian
Birth Date: abt 1887
Departure Place: Liverpool, England
Arrival Date: 24 Jan 1904
Arrival Place: Boston, Massachusetts, USA
Last Residence: Norway
Friend: Mikki Jolyesen
Ship: Ultonia

I see a Sven Kristensen living on Øvre Strai in the 1865 Census posted by Einar above.
