Anders Tollofsen, Wettres wife Else Tollofsen was burried at Asker church January 4. She died Des 29 1800 and was 39 years old.

Thank you. Is this an oddity for the times being identified by the last name of her husband as opposed to what I know her by as Else Evensd. ?

Yes it would be a bit odd - especially if this were a quite rural area where traditional naming persisted longer than the cities. But humans do make errors.

Actually, her name in the deathrecord is written as Else Tollofs', where ' is typically short for datter.

Yes which adds to the confusion as again I know her by Else Evensd'. Maybe the recorder was just ahead of the curve.
