Dorthes father was Jan (or Jon) Erichsen, he was not married to the mother Marthe Hansdatter.
Dorthe is most likely the one that married Hans Andersen Nov 22 1778, see 4th down on right page.
Dorte and Hans Andersen with children at Gommerud in 1801.

Thanks for the information. I noticed in the 1801 census record a sister for Dorthe - Christine. I have searched the parish record for the period 1750 to 1755 - Christine should be born approximately 1753 - but did not find anything. As her last name is also Jonsd it seems Dorthe's parents possibly married. Any suggestions or help on finding information showing these events ?

Ancestry.com seems to have transcribed the data from this time frame at Akershus. So I was able to find Dorhte, but I did not find any record that would correspond to Christine.

Dorthe Jensen
in the Norway, Select Baptisms, 1634-1927
Name: Dorthe Jensen
[Dorthe Erichsen]
Gender: Female
Baptism Date: 18 okt 1750 (18 Oct 1750)
Baptism Place: , Asker, Akershus, Norway
Father: Jan Erichsen
Mother: Marthe Hansdr
FHL Film Number: 123213

The marriage of Dorthe was also in the data base.

Dorthe Jonsdr
in the Norway, Select Marriages, 1660-1926
Name: Dorthe Jonsdr
Gender: Female
Marriage Date: 22 nov 1778
Marriage Place: Asker,Akershus,Norway
Spouse: Hans Andersen
FHL Film Number: 123213

I will have some time later today to see if I can find information on the Xstine from the Census posted by Einar.

Thank you. I did have that marriage record and have felt that the birth record for Dorthe above is probably for the Dorthe in the marriage record although the records from Asker at that time do not have any helpful additional content to give one high confidence. It appears also that Christine as identified in the 1801 census was never married. Am I reading more into that than I should , in other words is she just single at this time or in fact never married ?

In the 1801 census cited above by Einar, there is a child Christine 13 years old. I have checked and double checked the parish record and cannot find a birth record. All the others can be found in this parish. Any ideas on finding Christine ? Have reviewed both mother's names and children's names

It is a puzzle.

Ancestry.com has all these children but no Xstine for Hans Andersen and Dorte Jonsdatter

Anna Catrine 1778
Anders 1780
Ougen 1782
Mari 1786
Sara 1792
Birte 1794
Johanne 1797

The only thing I can think of is that this child named Catrina could be the same as Xstine. Father is Hans Andersen and mother is Mari Jonsdatter

Catrine Hansen
in the Norway, Select Baptisms, 1634-1927
Name: Catrine Hansen
Gender: Female
Birth Date: 20 apr 1789
Baptism Date: 26 apr 1789
Baptism Place: , Asker, Akershus, Norway
Father: Hans Andersen
Mother: Mari Jonsdr
FHL Film Number: 123213

Can Mari actually be Dorte.

Marie is often a middle name, so maybe Dorte Marie?

Also look for confirmation for Christine / Catrine.

Thanks for these additional insights. I will look into them. I did run across the Hans Andersen / Mari Jonsd child and looked at it but didn't see any common witnesses that gave me confidence. Will look again.

Possibly something here :https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20061114010603 7th on right
Mother Katrine Hansd looks like - the gothic stuff gives me trouble.
Any thoughts on this. Gommerud seems to be a connection ? I can't figure out father's name. Arne ? Any ideas appreciated.

I found something here : https://www.digitalarkivet.no/kb20061114030176 2nd from bottom left - Maren
Looks like a brother and father of Catrine were witnesses and Arne is Simensen. I also found a marriage record. Thanks fro the confirmation tip as I did find that.
Around 1815 or so the records use the gothic writing and very hard to read as I look for other record, not only for Catrine but also Sara and Birthe.
Anything you spot would be appreciated.
Anton it looks likely that Catrine with mother Mari Jonsd is Christine from 1801 as many other items are consistent.
