I think that there is one man in Fillmore Country. His name in most of the records is Carl C Hourn, spelling varies a little but born about 1848 or so. And as you mention he married in 1876

Name: Carl C Hourn
Gender: Male
Marriage Date: 20 Dec 1876

Spouse Gender: Female
Event Type: Marriage
FHL Film Number: 1316805

Carl C Hourn
in the Minnesota, Territorial and State Censuses, 1849-1905
Name: Carl C Hourn

County: Fillmore
Locality: Rushford
Birth Location: Norway

Estimated Birth Year: abt 1847

Looks like he ended up in Seattle and married again late in life. The names given for his parents do not fit very well with the posted ones
