Ole was born 18.02.1867 in Ringsaker, Norway. His parents were Thore Kristiansen Røhr born 21.02.1841 and Maria Iversdatter born 14.04.1839. Ole spent his childhood in the care of Christian Sørensen and Eli Andersdatter at Lindborg, Slaatmyren in Ringsaker.
He left for America 25.04.1889 by the ship Rollo, and he called himself Ole T Slaatmyren.
We are wondering how his life in America was, but we don't know which name he was useing.
A man who might be him, is in California by the time of the 1900 Census, but we are not sure if it is the right man.
