I thank this site for giving me some information re. my great grandmother, Karin Martine Rummelhoff born 1849. On my grandmother's birth cert. Karin lists her mother as Ellen Torkelson. Yet on Norway baptismal record it is Ingebord Hansdatter . ??? Was Albrect Rummelhoff born 1812 married to anyone of them?

Albrect was married twice:
#1) with Oline Wilsrud. 3 children.
Official registered statement that Albrect recognizes a child born outside of marriage with Ingeborg Kristine Hansdatter, as his. Marriage with Oline dissolved.

#2) with Anne Sverine Larsdatter. 2 children.

Ellen Torkelson is the mother of Ingeborg Hansdatter, and the one who performed the baptism at home of Karen Martine.
It seems Albrect Rummelhoff and Ingeborg Kristine Hansdatter were 1st cousins.

Albrects mother was Berthe Larsdatter Salboehuus (1788-1873)
Ingeborg Kristine's mother was Elen Larsdatter Salbohus (ca.1787-et.1865), aka Ellen Torkelson. (She was married to Hans Torkildsen).
Berthe and Ellen were sisters.

Thank you for solving a family mystery. My gr. grandmother always listed her motheras Ellen Torkelsen.
