About the Muus chapel at Snaasa -
Chapel built by Magister Niels Muus in 1703 as a burial place for himself and his descendants. On a visit to Snaasa in 1894, Bernt Julius Muus made a list of coffins and inscriptions in the chapel. As a result of the visit, the 28 coffins were removed from the chapel and interred outside.
Above details from the book "Bernt Julius Muus -Founder of St. Olaf College" by Joseph H. Shaw 1999
It is not clear who requested this removal or who put up the plaques.
Somewhere there must be a record of the names of the 28.

Looks like Krogsgarden has some financial hardships.
