I need help finding birth date of an ancestor
Alis Jensdatter married Even Guldbrandsen 27 Oct 1815
as in link.
I have been unable to find her birth or where she was born.
Record shows her residence as Tørudstad farm Vang Parish, Hedmark

I guess these are all possibles but if she was 35 when married she
would have been born about 1780.

I believe this is her in 1801, born about 1779, residing in Vang/Furnes Parish

Here is one that is a little interesting. Name is Aletta, date of baptism is March 11, 1778, father is Jens Torødstad or Tørrudstad. Middle of left page

Link

Here is the Digitalarkivet transcription.

Link

No Alis baptized from 1778 to 1780 that I could find in either Vang or Furnes

Yes I have seen this also. It lists her father as Jens from Torudstad
and mother Maren Madsdatter.
A reseacher in Norway for my cousin a few years ago listed Alis patents
as Jens Palsen Bergaust and Mari Madsdatter. possibly the same
people. He listed Alis b.1779
I have found no further records for Aletta Jensdatter?
would it be possilble Alis is another name for Aletta or the other way?

Perhaps the same here is Jens Poulson on Tørrudstad as father of Eli in 1773

Hi Anton I hadn't seen Eli before. It list parents Jens and Mari probably the
same partents of Aletta. It's possible Alis and Aletta are the same person.
As I said I tried to research Aletta with no luck.

Here is the marriage of Jens Poulsen in 1773. No farm listed.

Link

Likely the death of Mari Madsdatter in 1801 on Tørudstad.

Link

Lars born in 1780

Lars

Niels born in 1776

Niels

Likely that Mari and Maren are the same person.

Furnes bygdebok (clipping) mentions Alis as one of the daughters in the marriage between Jens Pålsen and Mari Madsdatter, and gives as the date of baptism the one for Aletta found above.

Thank you both ToreL and Anton without having access to the Furnes
Bygdebok I was at a stand still. The clipping gives me another two generations
back in time. Alis was my paternal Great Greatgrandmother..
