After a short stint of failing to read the right hand page, I gave up and resorted to Ancestry.com family trees for information on the siblings in America. Here is some info on Andreas and Martin etc.

A second tree has information on two that are not in the 1865 Census but seem to have the same parents. This second tree is well sourced for some of the people if you need more info.

I did search the ELCA data base for a burial record for Christian Thoen under various spellings. Did not find anything. I did find another Thoen living in the same area

Opps missed your post on the 1885 Census.
Some boundaries can be put on the death of Christian Thoen. In the 1895 Minnesota Census he is missing from the family.
You can see by the screenshot that this is the family.
