Hi All,
Amund Haagensen got 4 years in prison but I can't make out exactly what crime he committed to deserve. Here's the link:

Amund was mentioned in a prior topic here at norwayheritage so I wonder if there is some kind of connection to his departure from Vinger in 1850 and this crime?

| There is some information about Amund being engaged in the floating of timber which took place on the river at Fredrikstad, and some alcohol being brought over from Sweden changing hands between Amund and sone other mentioned persons. |

So he wasn't manufacturing it but was only distributing it?

Buying alcohol in Europe is most reminicent of a migration when it comes to buying cheap alcohol
Norwegians travel to Sweden, the Swedes to Denmark, the Danes to Germany, the Germans to Poland and the Poles to Ukraine.
The big question; Where does the Ukranians buy alkohol
