Agnethe Olsdatter born 14 july 1884, baptized 28 september 1884 in Grue,Hedmark. She emigrated to Dakota 1903 with the ship Angelo. I have not been able to find her in any records in the US. Does anyone here know about what happened with her?

I think that Jackie has got the correct arrival for Agnes but not the correct Agnes. Her destination does not fit well with the emigration record.

Here is the same ship the Haverford leaving the UK. This provides a date that corresponds well with her arrival into Philadelphia. She is number 36. Just above her at number 35 is Ole Taraldsen age 19. This is likely him leaving Kristiansand on April 8, 1903.

I think the correct person is Agneth Olsdatter arriving on the Aurania into New York City.

Agnette Olsdatter
in the New York, Passenger and Crew Lists (including Castle Garden and Ellis Island), 1820-1957
Name: Agnette Olsdatter
Arrival Date: 22 May 1903
Birth Date: abt 1885
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Ethnicity/ Nationality: Norwegian
Port of Departure: Liverpool, England
Port of Arrival: New York, New York
Ship Name: Aurania

The passenger next to Agnes on this ship is Laura Kveseth same as the person next to Agnes on the emigration record posted above by Jackie. Both are going to Churchs Ferry, North Dakota which fits the emigration record of going to Dakota.

This pair is going to friend and cousin C G Kveset of Chruchs Ferry ND.

A better choice all the way round. Lots of Peter Rasmussen in kansas and most are Danish.

A Laura Kviseth possible in 1910 living in Grand Forks, N.D.:

There is also a possibility she had a son that was a soldier in UK during the war. The reason I look for her is that an English lady has DNA matches with forest finns of Solør which include my family too. Her mothers father is unknown. They suspect an american soldier though.Agnes is a strong candidate if she had a son.

Five family trees for Agnes Olson on Ancestry.com. No parents listed in any of the trees.

Most have this in the tree

Agnes Olson
1886–1961
BIRTH 1886 • Norway
DEATH 1961

One has this

Agnes Olson
1886–1961
BIRTH 3 JUL 1886 • Norway
DEATH 24 MAR 1961 • Rock, Minnesota

I think she died in the state of Washington so the minnesota death is likely wrong.

I do not think Agnes Frisk is the right one. She is listed as arrived in 1907 in the census. The one called Agnette Olsdatter travels with a lady by the name Kveseth. Kveseth is a place not so far away from where Agnethe lived. And they arrived 1903,same year listed in departure from Norway. Seems like she is the right one.

A Laura Kveset married a man named Louis Fallows in Grand Forks county about 1910 and lived in Grand Forks and died there in 1924. She is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Here is the family in 1920:
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MC8B-KCJ

Laura's FAG memorial:
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/135648978

Does the candidate Laura have a 6 May birthdate in either 1882 or 1883?

The two daughters get married:
DOCKEN, LEONARD
FALLOWS, FLORENCE
1937-09-05
GRAND FORKS

ZIMDARS, EARL
FALLOWS, ELEANOR
1936-12-31
GRAND FORKS

Florence's FAG memorial:
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/147988252/florence-lelia-docken

Eleanor B Zimdars died 12 July 1986 in Ohio survived by her husband, two daughters named Joan Reichelt and Barbara Tumino and 5 grandchildren named Dawn and Rob Reichelt and Paul, David and Amie Tumino.

It would be interesting to know if Agnethe was faddernes to the girls baptisms and a witness to Laura's wedding.
