By the 1891 Census her father was deceased and she is not living with her mother and siblings on Østby.

The Hanna Kristense/Kristine that we have found was born in 1869 and still lived in Norway in 1883. Du you have evidence that the Hannah Kristine that you are searching for emigrated before your grandfather and his family?

I was in error saying that she she emmigrated in 1869 (that was when she was born). I don't know when she emmigrated :(

Might be her leaving Norway in 1895. Hanna K Nilsen age 29. Destination Wadena. Likely Wadena Minnesota or Iowa.

Probably her arrival, although it does say her destination is Iowa? so Iowa wins.
