Do both male and female children of a family take on the farm name?

When a female married she takes the name after her husbands farm.

A male takes the name after the farm he settle down on.
If a male moves from the farm he was born to another farm he takes the name after the farm he moves to.
Because of that a person if he moves often he may have several lastnames.

Ole Olsen Berg or Ole Berg moves to farm Brende and change name to Ole Olsen Brende or Ole Brende, then he moves to farm Bratholm and change name to Ole Olsen Bratholm, or Ole Bratholm..………..
