Hello! I was recently working on some family history and came across some things that I couldn't understand. I have a two part question:
1. Would anyone be able to translate the whole line on this parish birth record? It is line #80 about Mette.
https://urn.digitalarkivet.no/URN:NBN:no-a1450-kb20050511010786.jpg
2. I have some written information from an older relative about my line and for one ancestor she says he was born at "Deldok, Numedahl, Norway", but I could find absolutely no record of a place called Deldok in Norway. This man's son wrote that he, himself, was born at Rollag, Numedahl, so I assume his father was also born there, but the Deldok is really throwing me off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! |

#80 born 31 Aug 1858, baptized 10 Oct 1858 Mette, illegitimate, her parents are bachelor Anders Gundersen Moen and unmarried woman Anne Christiansdatter Kyllo (?); the godparents, witnesses are Mali Gundersdatter _________. Ingeborg Anna Christiansdatter Kyllo Christian Kyllo (same farm as Anne lived), Anna Martha Jonsdatter Moen,,Anders Larsen (same farm as Mali is on) , Sivert Kyllo, Johan ________ (same farm as Mali and Anders
The note in the far column I can't quite decipher but usually it tells who has reported the illegitimate birth. |

The far column usually tells as Jackie says who has reported the illegitimate birth. But I think this one reads: "For dette pare er (ud)lyst til ægteskab."; ie "For this couple a wedding has been announced". |

Was wondering if I could get a little more help with finding some locations.
For this one, I couldn't find any information about Præstegaarden. I have the record saying my family members lived there, but couldn't find it within the region. https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/255/pd00000011453267
And same for this one, I couldn't fine any information about Hægrestrøen. This one I have a bit more written information from a family member about the family that lived there. "Hegrestøen was a cottage on the Hegra parsonage on the Hegra farm. The Hegre parsonage, according to records of 1866, was a wide expanse of 340 measures...Trø means cattle fold, so probably this place was near the pastures where the cattle were kept. There was a summer cabin on the Hegresvollen and a waterfall on the Bjug Stream that belonged to the Hegre farm." https://www.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/255/pd00000013101754
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

Præstegaarden means parsonage, so this must refer to Værnes Præstegaard, ie. Værnes parsonage. The parsonage had many households for those who worked on the farm.
Hægrestrøen is a farm under Hegra parsonage. Hægrestrøen was later called Myrvang, but is farmland today.
