She was well known for the beautiful Scandinavian handwork creations that were entered in the Western Washington Fair each year. The first place ribbons were many. She attended and was a charter member of People's Church in Tacoma. In later years she lovingly made the communion bread for the communion service for the church."

You have zeroed in on the connection here. My father-in-law is from the area around Dverberg, so I am sure we are on the right track. I have actually been to this place in Norway. I am now in the process of trying to link all the names.
