She was well known for the beautiful Scandinavian handwork creations that were entered in the Western Washington Fair each year. The first place ribbons were many. You have zeroed in on the connection here. My father-in-law is from the area around Dverberg, so I am sure we are on the right track. I have actually been to this place in Norway. I am now in the process of trying to link all the names.

I have to thank everyone who has contributed to this post - this is an amazing group!

Kevin

I have minimal information here.

June Darnell was the daughter of Rolf Andreason and Hulda Andreasen. Both born in Norway. June now lives in Anchorage, AK. June was adopted out at 14 years old to Fred and Wanda Vogel - also Norwegians. June is now in her 90s.

That's all I have to go on. Have tried Ancestry, Family Search, Google. Also tried the Norwegian Digital Archive, but the link is broken.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Kevin

This was good to know since there was a hint of an Andreassen connection!
