Can anyone please explain how to search this site?

I am looking for a few different farms, I believe all were from Eidsvold
Korslund farm
Venger Sondre farm
Brostad(sp?) farm

You won't find Eidsvold farms in the aal bygdebok which you have linked here.

At the Digiralarkivet page you can search for property names by clicking on the words search for properties just underneath the big white open box.

Thank you. Some of these Norwegian sites are really hard to understand. I have tried using Google Translate and even that has issues with some of the words that I have tried translating.

Well, in the case of a lot of the Hallingdal bygdeboker and probably some others, the items may be written in the local dialect, or use abbreviations which Google translate would find hard to follow.

For speed in using the aal site, click on the "alfabetisk" choice and that loads an alphabetical list of every farm name including husmannplass, which might be what your family remembers as "their" farm.
