Gards- og ættesoge for Luster kommune, Vol 3 (author Lars E. Øyane), p. 227 (access for Norwegian IP-addresses) confirms this identification. It also has his wife as an Olsdatter.

I don't suppose that it gave the names of the parents of Kari Olsdatter.

Parents were Ole Larsson Løvhaugen (born on Fåberg in upper Jostedalen ca. 1757 and died on Lauvhaugen under Kroken 1804) and Anna Larsdotter (1750- ca. 1786).

Kari Olsdotter was baptized 20.12.1777.

Super, Tori. I saw Ole Larsen Krogen in the 1801 Census and suspected he was the right father but I was a little uncertain.
