you received the profession of Catholic faith from Halodan Hansen
twenty years old
son of Borger Hansen and Laura Olsen of Larviq Norway,
baptized him unconditionally and absolved him of heresy and any censorship incurred for this cause
in the presence of Father Ovide Larouche, parish priest of Saintt-Fulgence,
who served as godfather and who signs with us. A word in the margin, good reading.
No doubt Holodan Hansen is Halfdan or Halvdan Hansen baptised in saint Fulgence Henri.

Someone alerted me to this thread, I have not been keeping up with this forum.
The phone number listed in this thread is not mine, it must be someone who shares my name.
As I understand that you have difficulties with English I can write in French if you prefer.
Si j’ai bien compris vous êtes un descendant de mes 2x arrière grand-parents Borger et Laura Hansen de Larvik, Norvège, par voie de leur fils Halvdan qui aurait émigré au Québec?
Nous n’avions aucune connaissance d’éventuels relations familiales au Canada. Dites-moi ce que vous savez sur son chemin vers le Québec? Et sa vie la-bás?
Son frère Godberg est parti vers la ville Norvégienne de Kongsberg, où il a fondé sa famille et où il travaillait en tant que ouvrier dans l’industrie des armes, ainsi qu’en tant qu’éléctricien.

Wow Je suis content de pouvoir échanger avec vous.
Ma grand-mère Bertha Hansen mariée à Charles-Eugène Gilbert était sa fille. Elle racontait que son père s'appelait Hennery Hansen, qu'il était né en 1875 et qu'il était le fils de Borger Hansen et de Laura Olsen de Larvik.
Elle racontait aussi que sa mère Marie Racine avait eu 9 enfants avec lui : Laura Hansen 15 10 1896, Maria-Anne Hansen 23 09 1897, Joseph Axcel 13 01 1899, Eugène 6 01 1901, Alice Hansen 12 12 1901, Yvonne Hansen 26 04 1906, Bertha 3 12 1907, Victor Hansen 23 08 1909 et Marie-Blanche décembre 1910.
À partir de cela j'ai cherché et j'ai retrouvé l'arbre généalogique que vous avez construit sur Geni.com.

Sur celui-ci je n'ai trouvé aucune trace de Hennery Hansen, sauf que le nom Halvdan a attiré mon attention.
Sur NorwayHeritage j'ait trouvé le thread où on relie Henry Hensen à Halvdan Hansen et où on rattache la généalogie que vous avez réalisé sur geni.com et que j'avais déjà consulté.

J'ai retracé son arrivée au Québec à Saint-Fulgence où il s'est fait baptisé à 20 ans, sous le nom Halodan
comme vous avez pu le lire sur mon thread précédent. Tous ceux à cette époque qui voulait se marier
devait faire profession de foi à la religion catholique.
Tout semble s'inscrire dans la synchronicité.
