Does anyone know where I could see a picture of a Norwegian in their Norwegian Royall Navy Uniform and one in the Merchant Naval Uniform. I need to establish which of the sectors our photo (from memory)comes from in the 1939-45 war years. I can remember two ribbons coming down from a bonnet at the back of the head. "Bill" Boorler (not correct spelling, am sure) sounds like I've written it, stayed with us in Glasgow on several occasions when we were little, during the 39-45 war, and we are trying to trace his family. Not having the correct spelling of the name makes it harder. His picture hung for a long time on our wall. After the war he was never heard of again, but may have been killed. One of his friends was an Arne Strand, of Trondheim, but he died in the 80's. Some family members thought that Bill's real name was Manfred. We were only very young children then. So if anyone has any ideas on all of this, I'd appreciate some feed back.# Thanks .

I have been told now by a family member that the spelling for Boorler is Berleau.
