   Good find.  It says that Helge Blichner belonged to a "free church", hence menbers of the family were probably not baptised in the state church, which makes the baptisms harder to find.
  I also note that someone higher up the tree was naned Halvor Stiansen.  Gundine's brother was clearly named after him, patronymic and all.  
  Frithjof's 1923 arrival  record in America mentions yet another Halvor, probably this guy. |
