Greetings from Canada! I am looking for info re: my grandparents family. Info I have to date: Karl Hermansen b. 27/08/1896 in Sarpsborg, married in 1918 to Marie Pedersen b. 04/04/1898 (Porsgrunn or ?Ignall). They resided in Rjukan, with 2 children -Rolf b. 21/08/1919 and Laila b. 08/08/1922. They sailed from Oslo April, 1927 to Canada. The rest of their lives I know as they had 2 more children here, one being my Mom. I'm anxious to find any info I can for her. I've been searching but so far no real answers. Searching Rjukan in the 1900 census is too early for their lives there. Anyone's help is greatly appreciated.
:-) Takk, Corky
