My grandfather, Erik Eriksen Rasten, was apparently from the farm Rasten or Evanstad. He emigrated to Minneapolis, MN in 1905. Does anyone know of those two farms?

Helge: Thank you for replying. I have looked at the digitalarkivet in the past but not Storelvdal. However, I really don't know how to navigate in it because, unlike Norwegians with English, I don't read Norwegian (except parish records). Is there an English version of it? Could you guide me to the names Rasten and Evanstad on it? My grandfather's mother lived in Evanstad plus at least two half-sisters in 1900, all named Larsen (Eline, Malla, Anna). My grandfather lived before 1900.
My mother was born in Norway and emigrated when she was about two years old. My wife and I have been to Norway twice, as tourists.

You will find both Rasten (not a farm in 1900) and Evenstad at the online 1900 census for Storelvdal: http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&filnamn=f00430&spraak=&metanr=857
I couldn't find Erik Eriksen at Rasten or Evenstad (or the Rusten farms) though.
