Family records say he was on the Deodata that departed from Christiania on April 26, 1853 and arrived in Quebec on June 15, 1853. He is not showing on this passenger list. Can you confirm or correct our family records? Thank you.

There is no passenger list for 1858 in the digitalarkivet.uib.no website, However you may want to take a look in the NARA and order the microfilm for that date.
