I am looking for information on a relative named William Forsland or Forslund, born in Oslo about 1912 and died in Oslo in the 1980's. Does anyone know if records this recent are available? Also, are records from the Norwegian Navy circa 1930's available to the public?

Thanks in advance.

Kathy

There was a census 1912 in Norway. This and other recent records (though older than 60 years) are only availlable at The National Archive in Oslo=Statsarkivet i Oslo
