I have the original passport of my gggrandfather Nils Brynjuldsen and his family and on it "they leave on board the Kronprins Oscar whose Captain is H. Arveskoug" When I submitted this name to the Ships the answer was not found. Alice

Hi!

There is however two ships called Oscar I and Oscar II. Could that be one of the ships he was on?

We have her in the database:
Kronprinds Oscar Captain Halvor Arveschaug from Porsgrunn May 22 to Boston July 24 1844, not much more than that.
