I am searching for any information on the Martinsen family from Raade, Ostfold.
I am unable to locate any of them in the 1865 census which is strange,as I can't seem to locate them on any passenger lists out of the country either.
I am searching for MARTIN CHRISTIAN JACOBSEN and MAREN ARVESEN parents of

JACOB -born Raade 31 Jan 1854- ended up in New Zealand
JENS - born Raade 6 Aug 1859
ELINE - born Raade 13 Aug 1861

and am also searching for the children. I would imagine there are more children but don't know their names.

MARTIN CHRISTIAN JACOBSEN was also born in Raade, Ostfold, on 13 Jan 1815.
His wife MAREN ARVESEN I have no information on.

MARTIN CHRISTIAN JACOBSEN'S parents were JACOB JOHANSEN , born about 1780 (Raade),and died 21 March 1853and INGEBOR KNUDSEN born 1782 and died 1860.

I would appreciate any suggestions as where to look for the family.

A hint when searching in the Digitalarkivet. Search using begins with or contains and use a minimum of letters. As you can see Jacobsen is Jakobs. in the census.
I'm guessin that Caroline is Eline.
Do you know when they emmigrated?
