This Anton and Berte moved into Eidsvoll as single people, got married in Eidsvoll and then moved back to Øier as a married couple. There are lots of dates in the marriage record including each of their confirmation records and birth dates. There were no confirmations on his given confirmation date in Eidsvoll but there were confirmations on that date in Øier. Indeed, his confirmation record is found to have been performed on that date. You might want to check his birthdate in the Øier baptismal records to put your mind at ease.

There are some similarities between the two men. Name Anton Kristiansen, occupation working on the railroad and a May 1856 birthdate.

After some digging, and a bit of good luck, we found out he is. Great connection to make.

I wonder if Carl-Fredrik Bunæs born 1939 in Drammen, 18 times Norwegian champion in athletics at 100 - 200 and 400 meter is from the same family.

This span of years might only be possible if the first wife has died and Christen has moved on to another wife, events exceedingly difficult to find in Eidsvold considering the dearth of pastoral records. Perhaps there are estate records for Christen Larsen?
