Looking for passenger list for Hekla I, left Christiana for NY on 5-12--1882, arrived there 6-6-1882. Where can I locate this ? Not available on the Digitalarkivet.

The Digitalarkivet does not have the passenger lists, but registers of emigrants departing. All the emigrants leaving Christiania on that ship will be listed in the police emigration registers, but as they came in to be registered. That means that they will be registered together with emigrants traveling with other lines on other ships. The actual passenger list can be found on microfilm at NARA. For more information I recommend the article: Hunting Passenger Lists introduction article
