On this voyage a family of 13 from Finmark were embarked. The name I have is Bersven Nelson, a son. He served in the 15th Wisc. Regt. and kept a very extensive diary in Norwegian, some of which has been translated. The ship's name and voyage match his diary, except he gives 9 July as arrival in Quebec. This may help if you are transcribing the Pass. List.

Hi James

Thanks for the ship descriptions!

Concerning the Camilla crossing in 1861, we have a great problem with the passengers. There are no passenger lists surviving for Quebec prior to 1865, so to be able to make lists of the emigrants arriving to Quebec prior to that, we are dependent of other sources.
