Looking for information on the Vindedahl and Harried families in my family tree:
Knute Vindedahl b 1864 from Larsdahl, Sogn, Norway
Christine Harried b. 1864 from Aardahl, Sogn, Norway
I don't know when they were married, but I have a daughter born 1897.
They eventually settled in Wisconsin.
Thank you so much for any help or information. Also looking for information on their towns. |

Hi,
Knut Jensen Vindedal is listed twice in the list of Emigrants from Bergen 1874-1930:
1st trip: March 23rd, 1883
2nd trip: June 11th, 1914
Kristine Vindedahl and their fosterdaughter Hilma Vindedahl is also with him on the second trip.
This must be him in the 1865-census.
Knut's parents are Jens Knudsen (born ca 1834) and Kari Hansdatter (born ca 1830).
Christi Olsdatter Hereid emigrated on April 14th, 1885. Probably Knuts future wife...? 
This must be her in census 1865.
Her parents are Ole Ovesen (born ca 1834) and Mari Endresdatter (born ca 1835)
