Awhile back a Karen Riddle from the UK was inquiring about a William Colson/Olson who had come to Newfoundland (Sandy Point) via Christiana. I have the answers of what became of him and his family when he arrived here but am seeking any information about him before he left. His date of birth is given as March 6, 1859 or 1861 and he was listed as being born in Christiana, Norway. He was a ships carpenter and went on to become a very well known carpenter on the West Coast of newfoundland, building some very historic buildings.
Karen mentioned finding info mentioned a William and Ellen for parents. If she or anyone else can send me any additional info I would be very greatful.
