I'll assume the earlier help you received gave you at least approximate birth years, birth locations and some method to at least estimate when the couple married.
Check the parish church records for the parish where the bride was born 1st, if not found - then check the birth parish of the groom. If both families moved in the time before the marriage occurred - I couldn't guess.
Still assuming that you know some location and time period in Norway, check the records for that area and era which have been transcribed for online use. If none can be found - turn to the parish church records on LDS microfilm.

The marriage record for Find Hansen, Soløst (24 years) and Berte Knudsdatter, Westabæk (24 years) is the 7th from bottom of right page.
The marriage was July 5 1825.

Find Hansen was baptized April 2 1801, see far left column. His father was Hans Syloust, see Finds parents and siblings in 1801.

Just a quick comment: Could the residence of the bride be [uVestabær]u]?

Vestaberg is a "famous" place in Sør-Odal, I can't find any "Westabæk" in the censuses...

Thanks!

A bit annoying, really, as Vestabergstua is kept as a part of Odalsunet (Open air local history museum) today. I was hoping that I could point directly to the house on the internet..!

Odalstunet is however well worth a visit for Americans seeking their roots,

Vestabergstua:

This is also the place where author Carl Vestaberg grew up.

Perhas you are right Jan, Westabæk might be a wrongspelling for Vestaberg.
Lots of Vestabekken´s in Hedmark but no farm with that name in Sør Odal where Berte Knusdatter was born acc. the 1865 census for farm Farsethgrind where she lived in 1865.
Another option is if it was a local name for a subfarm.

Cool!

A quick look in Sør-Odal bygdebok could answer this question!

Interesting discussion. Reading the handwriting seams to indicate Vestadbæk, the k is similar to the record of April 5 where you read Mangbakke. (Mangbakken is a farm in the 1865 census for Sør Odal).

Nord Odal Bygdebok.

Berthe Knudsdatter born 1802 on Teppa under Austvatn, later named Bergenstaad, but she was from Vestabekken under Glomsås in Sør-Odal when she married Find Hansen Finnstua-Solløst.
The family settled down on farm Lystad under Oppstad in 1839.

A daughter Ragndi born Feb. 13. 1829 married Nov. 22 1849 Johan Johannesen born 1830 on Pasotorpet in Grue parish, see #18
To Norsewood, New Zealand 1873.

Find Hansens father Hans Nilsen Sollaust was born 1760, bap. Dominca 2. in Advent; Dec. 7, father Nils Sollaust.
Nils Sollaust was Nils Findsen Sollaust, approx. in the middle of left column right page;
Døbt Nils Sollaust ægte Søn Hans, see here

Many various spellings, I use Sollaust here.
The farm is located to a slope to the north with little sun "sol", "Sollaust"

Many different spellings
quote:
Døbt Nils Sollaust ægte Søn Hans
, Hans Nilsens bapt. record says Soloust, Find Hansens bapt. record says Syloust and his marriage record says Soløst.
In the 1801 census Syloust is used.
