I am trying to find information Johan Simensen Paso who was born in sweden to finnish parents but they settled in finnskogen , Norway . in 1770 his grandson , Johan Joannesen Paso settled at at small farmlet , " Pasotorpet "

There is a guy called Johan Johannesen on Skara Pasotorpet, Grue, Hedemark, in the 1865 census. But I can't find the place in 1801.

But there is another Johan Johannesen on Skarra, Hedemark, in the 1801 cencus - I guess this is the same place and the same family.

The name "Johan" is a popular name in our family , in norway there were 3 generations of 'Johan' , there was the Grandfather ( finnish ) Johan simensen who immigrated to norway with his parents , then there was his son ' johannes (johan) Paso and then his son Johan johannes Paso.
Posotorpet was one of a few farmlets belonging to Skara

Yes, I do have some information about Johan Simensen Paso, but because this thread is ten years old I would like to see if Hopkins _02 is still online before posting the info !
