I am trying to locate information on Mons J. Folven and Anna Rasmusdatter. They would have been born somewhere in the mid 1600s in Norway. The only additional information I have is that they had a daughter named Kristi Monsdtr Folven born in 1696 in Folven, Innvik prestegjeld, Norway. Kristi died on 8 May 1781 in Norway.

Seems the OP is busy elsewhere. The opening query has apparently named Kristi's son and his wife as being Kristi's parents.

Well much of the information in the various Family Trees is confusing at best but the gudahl.no site does provide some sources that can be verified. For example

Mogens Jørgensen Bolstad married Anne Rasmusdatter Folven on 23 November 1755. See this date lower left corner.

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=11506&idx_id=11506&uid=ny&idx_side=-263

So it would seem unlikely that they could have had a daughter born in 1696 as the OP seems to believe. But it does seem to be consistent with the baptism records posted by Peder.

And brother of groom married sister of bride in 1754 Jørgen and Synnøve, right hand page

However there is a Christi (sp?) Monsdatter Boelstad who died in August 5, 1781 at either 85 or 35 years old. Who is this Monsdatter Boelstad ?

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=11506&idx_id=11506&uid=ny&idx_side=-238

Some of the Family Trees suggest that she is the wife of Jørgen Jørgenson Bolstad, however the gudahl.no has no wife listed for Jørgen Jørgenson Bolstad and follows this Family Tree without Kristi. (who I added to help make some sense of all this)

Mons Family Tree on gudahl.no
Geble Bolstad, b abt 1630 had son
Jørgen Giæblesen Bolstad, b abt 1656 married
Kari Davidsdtr Mindre Sunde had son
Jørgen Jørgensen Bolstad 1693 – 1765 married unknown had son
Mons Jørgensen, 1725 – 29 Okt 1780 married
Rasmusdatter Folven, Anna 1733-1779 had daughter
Kristi Monsdtr Folven b 1773

There is a lot of information on a married couple or couple with the names Mons or Mogens and Anne or Anna Rasmusdatter. Are they two couples or one couple who had children with the same name very close together. For example Lasse.

Gender: Male
Baptism Date: 26 jul 1766

This transcription neglects giving the farm name behind Mons which is Folven or Folien. The faddernes on each of the two baptisms have some similar names.

Some light is shed on this Family Tree from the Bygdebok. by Jacob Aaland. It is not the easiest Bygdebok I have ever used but here is the Family Tree dug out of the Bolstad farm.

Family Information from Nordfjord frå gamle dagar til no, v. 3B Bygdebok
Gjeble Jørgensen Erdal, had son
Jørgen, b abt 1656, d 72 år g 1728, married
Kari Davidsdtr Mindre Sunde had son
Jørgen b abt 1693, d 72 år g 1765 married
Kristi Monsdtr. Floven b abt 1696, d 85 år g 1781, had son
Jørgen, b abt 1721, d 44 år g 1765, married
Synnøve Rasmusdatter Folven b abt 1746, d 69 år g 1815

Nordfjord fra#778; gamle dagar til no : med mange bilæte.
Jacob Aaland 1865-1950.
Nordfjordeidet : Brødrene Totland 1909]-<1974>
Available at TC Wilson Library General Collection (DL576.N6 A4
See volume B3

The Bygdebok puts the Kristi Monsdatter who died in 1781 as the wife of Jørgen Jørgensen who died in 1765.

It is quite possible that Mons Jørgensen and Jørgen Jørgense were brothers and married sisters Anne Rasmusdatter Floven and Synnøve Rasmusdatter Folven.

Here is a marriage of Jørgen Jørgensen Bolstad and Synnøve Rasmusdatter Foven, however the date is 1754 which makes the birth year given above somewhat suspect.

See 12 Jan right hand page.

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=11506&idx_id=11506&uid=ny&idx_side=-261

Same record from Ancestry.com

Norway, Select Marriages, 1660-1926

Gender: Female
Marriage Date: 5 apr 1754
Marriage Place: Innvik,Sogn Og Fjordane,Norway

Jorgen Jorgensen
FHL Film Number: 126415

And the marriage of Mogens Jørgensen and Anne Rasmusdatter, see 23 Nov left hand page.

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=11506&idx_id=11506&uid=ny&idx_side=-263

And the same record from Ancestry.com

This is the record that the birth year is calculated from. Synnøve Rasmusdatter Bolstad died in 1815 at age 65. See number 7, far right hand page.

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=11506&idx_id=11506&uid=ny&idx_side=-258

And the death record for her husband Jørgen Jørgen Boelstad in 1765. See right hand page. His father is on the left hand page.

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=11506&idx_id=11506&uid=ny&idx_side=-230

The 1801 Census might provide a better birth year for Synnove Rasmusdatter. The Bygdebok states that she was married twice after her first marriage to Jørgen Jørgensen. Her third husband is named Knut Torson Grov. In the 1801 Census she is listed with him and her birth year is given as 1736. Only issue is the Census claims it is her first marriage_

This Family Tree is fairly clear with all of the sources consulted. Using the gudahl.no tree, the Jacob Aaland Bygdebok and Ancestry.com Family Tree's and Norwegian Baptism Record from Ancestry.com a fairly complete Family Tree can be constructed. Some of the confusion arises because there are two Kristi Monsdatter Folven. One was born about 1696 and one was born in 1773 and is likely the grand-daughter of the first. Here is the Family Tree that I have compiled from the various sources.

Compiled Family Tree

Geble Bolstad, b abt 1630 had son

Jørgen Giæblesen Bolstad, b abt 1656 married
Kari Davidsdtr Mindre Sunde had son

Jørgen Jørgensen Bolstad 1693 – 1765 married
Kristi Monsdtr. Floven b abt 1696, d 85 år g 1781 had sons

Jørgen Jørgensen Bolstad 1721 – 1765 married
Synnøve Rasmusdatter Folven 1746 – 1815

and

Mons Jørgensen, 1725 – 1780 married
Anna Rasmusdatter Folven, 1733-1779

Jørgen and Mons were brothers and Synnøve and Anna were sisters.

Both brothers had many children some of which are listed in the Family Trees and some had to be dug out of the Baptism Records. The children will be posted next.
